Emma Agnas de Frumerie
Member of the orchestra since 2010.
Emma Agnas de Frumerie has been a member of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra since 2010. She was previously employed in the first violin section of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
Emma Agnas de Frumerie studied at the Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg under Per Enoksson. She then continued her studies for three more years at the Royal College of Music/Edsberg with Magnus Ericsson and Peter Herrestahl. There, she also pursued special studies in chamber music with Mats Zetterqvist. In spring 2006, she completed a two-year master’s programme at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo with Peter Herrestahl; during these years, she also had a scholarship place in the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra.
In addition to her position in the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Emma Agnas de Frumerie is also a member of the group SeLest, which has been lauded for a variety of classical music performances, including Mozart’s Requiem. She is also a highly active chamber musician and has participated in Konserthuset’s Soup Concerts and Philharmonic Up-Close subscriptions on many occasions.
