Nadine Jurdzinski
Member of the orchestra since 2006.
Nadine Jurdzinski grew up in Germany and studied from 1998–2004 at the University of Music and Theatre “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” Leipzig with, among others, professor Dietmar Hallmann, former alto violin section leader of the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra. She was then a guest student at the Royal College of Music from 2004–2005.
Nadine Jurdzinski has played with ensembles including the Staatskapelle Halle, Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. She joined the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra in 2006. She spent 2010–2013 in London, where she worked as alternate section leader in several projects with the English National Opera. She has also played in the orchestra at Royal Opera House Covent Garden and has completed several tours with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
In addition to her orchestral work with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, she has been a consistent participant in Konserthuset’s various chamber music subscriptions. Since 2018 she is also a member of Kammarensemblen, an ensemble focusing on contemporary music, and she has worked with the new music ensemble Norrbotten NEO.
