Camilla Svarfvar
Member of the orchestra since 2012.
Camilla Svarfvar has been a member of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra since 2012. She grew up in a musical home – “someone was always rehearsing.” She studied viola under Björn Sjögren at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, and under Alan de Veritch at Indiana University Bloomington, where she was also a teacher’s assistant.
Camilla has previously been active with the Royal Swedish Orchestra, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and several other professional orchestras. She has participated in Konserthuset Stockholm’s chamber music subscriptions Philharmonic Up-Close and Soup Concerts.
