Jesper Harryson
Principal and member of the orchestra since 1993.
Oboist Jesper Harryson is section leader in the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. Harryson also regularly appears as a soloist and is an active chamber musician. He was also a member of the Stockholm Sinfonietta. In 1988 he won a Nordic competition for oboists in Odense and he has also received awards in international competitions in Germany and the UK.
Jesper Harryson is regularly part of various chamber music concerts at Konserthuset, including as a member of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Wind Quintet. Harryson also teaches at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
