Andreas Alin
Principal and member of the orchestra since 1987.
Flutist Andreas Alin is section leader in both the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and the Stockholm Sinfonietta. He has performed as a soloist with many of the country’s foremost orchestras and with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra on multiple occasions. He is also a member of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Wind Quintet. Alin is regularly engaged as a chamber musician and has participated in Konserthuset’s composer festivals many times. In 2001 he received the distinction of “Philharmonic Member of the Year”.
Andreas Alin also studied conducting at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm from 2005–2008 with Jorma Panula, among others. He has conducted the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, Gävle Symphony Orchestra and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
