Mats Allard
Member of the orchestra since 2002.
Mats Allard has been employed with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra since 2002. He studied at the Ingesund College of Music and then carried out his studies for a diploma at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. He subsequently completed two more years of diploma studies with Hans Deinzer at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media.
Allard has been active as an orchestral and chamber musician since 1985. In addition to Sweden, he has performed concerts as a chamber musician in the US, Finland and Ireland. He has also performed as a soloist with the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and the Gävle Symphony Orchestra.
Apart from his work with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Mats Allard has a close collaboration with pianist Mats Jansson and regularly appears at Norrköping’s Chamber Music Days.
