Gospel Sunday - Chicago Mass Choir in concert

Svenska Gospelverkstaden celebrates 30 years and presents Gospel Sunday! 

Celebrate gospel music and its significance to the Swedish people with an incredible mass choir with over 1,000 choral singers and guest artists from the US and Sweden! Gospel Sunday at Konserthuset will be an extraordinary experience. At two concerts, you will have the opportunity to listen, enjoy and of course sing along to some of the wonderful gospel classics. Throughout Gospel Sunday, Gospelverkstaden’s band will provide accompaniment, led by conductor Magnus Spångberg.

For the first time ever in Sweden, a guest performance by Chicago Mass Choir! This is a unique opportunity to hear one of the US’s best and most magnificent gospel choirs. In 2017, Chicago Mass Choir won the award for Best Traditional Gospel Choir at the Stellar Awards. At their concert, they will share music from the roots of gospel and also perform newly composed material. Experience the fantastic voices, singers and musicians – a gospel concert above and beyond the ordinary!
