Scott Brothers Duo
The finale of the OrganSpace organ festival, featuring English brothers.
OrganSpace is Stockholm’s international organ festival, held for the fourth time this year from 14–17 September. Scott Brothers Duo present the finale at Konserthuset. English brothers Jonathan and Tom Scott perform internationally on both organ and piano in various combinations.
We hear the duo in several very well-known works in their own arrangements, as well as in original music by Tom Scott. In addition to playing piano and organ, Tom Scott is also a composer, artist and animator – resulting in several projects that combine music and visual experiences. His brother, Jonathan Scott, also performs solo as a pianist and organist.
OrganSpace is Stockholm’s international organ festival and it is held every other year. This year’s edition consists of concerts with nine internationally celebrated organists at Stockholm City Hall, Konserthuset, in churches throughout the city, and in the Reactor Hall at KTH. Over the weekend, a youth camp will also be held at the Royal College of Music, in addition to workshops for kids.
