A unique jazz experience with the harmonica and masterpieces of classical music.
Filip Jers Quartet creates an exciting mix of jazz and other genres. Previously the quartet often used traditional folk melodies, with the harmonica taking the lead. Now classical music with added jazz flavouring is in focus. Their take on the masters of classical music is characterized by respect and sensibilty – as well as playfulness!
The unique blending of genres has drawn attention to the quartet in jazz festivals and clubs both in Sweden and internationally. Filip Jers Quartet consists of Filip Jers on the harmonica, Henrik Hallberg guitar, Vilhelm Bromander double bass bass and Wille Alin drums.
