Italian pianist Federico Colli debuted at Konserthuset in 2019, with no less than two performances on short notice: a recital, and as a soloist with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. Colli received wide acclaim after winning the International Mozart Competition Salzburg in 2011 and the Leeds International Piano Competition the following year.

Now he is back with Mozart’s Piano Sonata K.333, which is one of the composer’s finest, with its sparkling first movement, exquisite second movement and elegant finale. In the three fantasias, we also experience Mozart’s phenomenal improvisational skill.

Schubert’s Fantasia for piano, Opus 103, was originally composed for piano four-hands, and it is his most significant composition for more than one pianist. Here, Federico Colli performs an arrangement for solo piano, as well as a piano version of Sergei Prokofiev’s fascinating and wonderfully humorous story, Peter and the Wolf.

Konserthuset Stockholm temporarily introduces special seating plans for concerts. This is to ensure that we follow current regulations with a distance of at least one meter between all visitors in the hall. To create the greatest possible capacity and predictability, we only sell single seats, every other chair, both sideways and in depth. This means that if you go to the concert with a friend or a group, there will be an empty chair between you.
