Don’t miss the opportunity to hear tomorrow’s classical music stars today. In a unique and forward-looking partnership between 21 of Europe’s leading concert halls, which belong to the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO), six young musicians and ensembles from various countries are selected each year and given the opportunity to tour all of the concert halls and perform before an international audience.
Dutch violinist Noa Wildschut – nominated by Concertgebouw Amsterdam – has already established herself on the classical music scene and performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, Kremerata Baltica and many more.
She will perform Tchaikovsky’s warmly romantic Souvenir d’un lieu cher and Prokofiev’s lyrical and playful Violin Sonata No. 2. We will also hear the young Dutch composer Joey Rouken’s Sarasvati for violin and piano, composed for Noa Wildschut.
