String trio ZPR was founded by Cecilia Zilliacus, violin; Johanna Persson, viola; and Kati Raitinen, cello. Monday at Last is a concert subscription in which ZPR, now for the twelfth year in a row, invite guest musicians to explore new and old music together, often in close contact with the audience.

Recorder player Anna Petrini is equally rooted in early music and a contemporary repertoire. She is active as a soloist and a chamber musician in Sweden and abroad. Her debut album with music by, among others, Oscar Bianchi and Malin Bång, was nominated for a Grammis Award and she won Nutida Sound – Årets Konstmusik på Skiva (Contemporary Sound – Classical Music Record of the Year) in 2013. Together with ZPR and the Finnish harpsichordist Petteri Pitko, she will perform music by Telemann, American Betsy Jolas and Finnish Jukka Tiensuu, whose Tiet/Lots for recorder, violin, cello and harpsichord features the tonal possibilities of the various instruments.

After Monday at Last concerts, the audience is warmly welcome to Pyttirian kitchen and bar in Kungshallen, next door to Konserthuset. There will be food and drinks for purchase for those who want it, and a chance to talk with the ensemble or one another – about the concert, music in general or something else entirely.
