Stockholm Swing All Stars
Exuberant jazz by greats like Duke Ellington and Count Basie.
About the video
- From a livestream 11 September 2020.
- The video is approximately one hour and ten minutes.
Stockholm Swing All Stars is firmly rooted in jazz tradition and has developed a personal sound over the years, with unique arrangements and superb musicians who have fully mastered the incomparable feel of jazz. With swing, authority and joy, they direct the music straight into listeners’ hearts.
The theme of this year’s concert at Konserthuset Stockholm is simple: the best in Stockholm Swing All Stars’ repertoire. It will be a blend of swinging, sad, quick, slow and exuberantly happy songs, all in unique arrangements. Many of them are well known, composed by heroes like Duke Ellington and Count Basie, but there will also be unfamiliar treasures as well as original music composed in the spirit of the greats.
A moving, swinging concert is to be expected.
