The cello has a large register that ranges from low to high. It is graceful, and can express joy and sadness. That makes the cellos ideal for describing the orphan Miru’s entire personality.
In Merregnon: Land of Silence, Miru embarks on an unforgettable adventure together with her childhood friend Hikito and the loyal dog Mako. Their goal is to find out what is plaguing the Land of Silence, Merregnon. Merregnon is a symphonic tale of courage, perseverance, solidarity and freedom.
The fantastical world is painted with captivating melodies and symphonic sounds. As in Sergei Prokofiev’s classical musical tale, Peter and the Wolf, each character is portrayed by a distinct theme played by one of the orchestra’s various instruments.
The music is composed by Yoko Shimomura, one of the most prominent video game music composers of our time. She composed the music for internationally best-selling games like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy XV.
