Ingrid Aukner

Norwegian horn player Ingrid Aukner began her studies in Norway but moved to Finland in 2020 to study at the Sibelius Academy under Erja Joukamo-Ampuja. In 2023, she commenced her master’s degree there. She has participated in masterclasses with musicians such as Frøydis Ree Wekre, Johannes Hinterholzer, and Christian Lampert, and has performed with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also played with several international youth orchestras, and in 2024, she participated in the Sibelius Academy Symphony Orchestra’s performance (together with the Royal College of Music)  at the BBC Proms in London, conducted by Sakari Oramo.
