Astrid le Clercq

Swedish clarinettist Astrid le Clercq studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm under Hermann Stefánsson, Andreas Sundén, and Emil Jonason. She has since performed for extended periods with ensembles such as the Swedish Army Band and the Vaasa City Orchestra, where she was responsible for the bass clarinet. She has also performed with the Royal Swedish Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, and KammarensembleN. Additionally, she is active in the cross-genre big band Orkester Omnitonal and the folk music trio Fjäreld.
